Used Curriculum

Used Curriculum Options

Homeschool Meeting Place will consider purchasing gently used educational materials for Pre-k through 12th grade, including books, media, manipulatives, science supplies. All materials must be CURRENT, CLEAN, and COMPLETE. Items will be declined that are older editions, dusty/dirty, have missing parts or pages, or have some workbook pages that are already filled in (although you are welcome to bless other homeschool families by placing these items on the free tables in the store).  We do not purchase and will not process toys, puzzles, and supplies but if you package them separately we accept them for the free tables.   We also do not accept general reading material unless it is part of a curriculum program and if so it needs to be bundled and marked as part of that program or it will not be assessed.

Assessing Curriculum Items

We accept items the last week of May and the first two weeks of June OR until we exhaust our purchase budget.  You must bundle general reading books with the curriculum if you want us to make an offer on them.  We will assess the items and make an offer by the end of the third week of June.  The offer will address what we’re willing to purchase and what we would not purchase. If you accept the offer we will issue a check for the amount.  If you don’t want to accept the offer you may pick up your items.  Any items not picked up by July 1 will be placed on the free tables in the store.  You can expect to receive approximately 60% of what we will price the item. The difference is used to fund the operation and offerings of the resource center and the parent support group. All staff and workers are volunteers for these are non-profit organizations and no funds support any curriculum or supplier businesses.

Donating Used Curriculum

If you wish to donate items to the free tables you may drop them off any time.
